Time Does Not Stand Still
Over the course of time, new house specialities have been created in addition to the famous “Original Salzburger Mozartkugel”. A large selection of bonbons and truffles are made by hand with plenty of love and care.
This popular treat was created in 1985 in honour of Johann Sebastian Bach’s 300th birthday. Made of layers of coffee truffle, nut truffle and marzipan, this bonbon is then coated in a thin layer of dark chocolate.
Wolf Dietrich Block
This cube or “building block” was made in honour of Salzburg’s greatest baroque builder. Created in 1987 on the occasion of the Salzburg State Exhibition on Prince Archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau, this chocolate is made with rum truffle, cherry truffle and marzipan and is covered in a delicate coating of dark chocolate.
This sweet is dedicated to famous Salzburg physicist Christian A. Doppler (1803-1853). The Doppler effect made decisive progress possible in areas such as astronomy, aeronautics, medicine and many more. Our “Doppler-Kon(Ef)fekt” is made of champagne truffle, vanilla truffle and nougat in a dark chocolate coating.
Created as a good luck charm for the turn of the millennium, this cube-shaped treat is made of decadent champagne truffle and raw marzipan, wrapped in a dark chocolate coating.
With its delicate layers of nougat truffle, Fürst’s “Salzburger Schilling” is a sweet reminder of a past era!
Paris Lodron Trüffel
This delectable Fürst speciality was created in honour of Prince Archbishop Paris Lodron, founder of the University of Salzburg. This confection was created in cooperation with the University of Salzburg on the occasion of its 40th anniversary and is made from exquisite nut-rum truffle, nougat and a thin coating of dark chocolate.
The “Fürst Trüffel” was concocted for the 150th birthday of PAUL FÜRST (1856-1941), the creator of the “Original Salzburger Mozartkugel”. This bonbon features exquisite flavours with mocha truffle, vanilla truffle with high cocoa content, and nougat, all covered with a thin coating of dark chocolate.
